Japanese preclinical-technology company (Kashiwa/Chiba, Japan) building automated behavioural-monitoring systems for group-housed animals. Best known for eeeHive, the high-frequency RFID tracking platform with custom multiplexed-antenna hardware (automated-cognitive-testing-devices).

  • eeeHive — HF-RFID animal tracking: high-speed multiplexed antenna polling (5.9 ms per antenna) and concurrent multi-tag reads (8.2 ms per tag) overcome the two limits of conventional low-frequency RFID (poor spatiotemporal resolution; single-tag reads). Validated with 24 mice (1 week), six common marmosets (7 weeks) and aquatic species (newts, tilapia); resolves individuals even in dense clusters and extracts spatial utilisation, temporal dynamics, behavioural regularity and inter-individual relationships.
