Azalea Vision | Smart Solution customize for each patient
Tagline: Adaptive Optics. Embedded Intelligence. Seamless Connectivity.
At Azalea Vision, we are redefining what vision technology can do. Our smart contact lens integrates adaptive optics, custom microelectronics, and liquid crystal technology to mimic the natural responsiveness of the human eye—adapting to light, focus, and movement in real time.
But our solution goes further: with embedded sensors and NFC-compatible antennas, our lenses are designed for seamless communication with external devices like smartphones or smartwatches. This allows for remote control of lens modes, personalised configurations, and real-time data interaction—directly through intuitive gestures.
Engineered for fluctuating conditions such as presbyopia, keratoconus, and photophobia, our system is also built to scale—enabling future applications in diagnostics, biosensing, and ocular drug delivery.
Applications
- Presbyopia
- Keratoconus
- Light sensitivity (photophobia)

“Our Smart Adaptive Vision technology doesn’t stop at vision correction. With real-time sensing, integrated microelectronics, and near-field communication (NFC) capabilities, our technology opens the door to a new era: one where the eye is both a window and a sensor, effortlessly connected to devices like smartphones or smartwatches.”
Expanding the Possibilities of Intelligent Vision
- Embedded Biosensing: Detect tear-based biomarkers to monitor glaucoma, glucose levels, dry eye and more in real time.
- Precision Drug Delivery: Deliver therapeutics directly via the lens for conditions like glaucoma or ocular inflammation.
- Human-Device Interface: NFC-compatible antenna; gesture (bringing a device near the eye) switches lens modes or triggers personalised functions.
- Future-Ready Applications: Architecture supports expansion into AR/VR vision enhancement, ambient light adjustment, and advanced neuro-visual feedback systems.
