Another full-colour AI glasses is coming — Wigain Flow

The AI-glasses race has a new player. Qiuguo Plan announced on 16 September that its first fully self-developed full-colour AI smart glasses, Wigain Flow, will make their global debut at the 5th Global Digital Trade Expo, which opens on 23 September.
According to Zhang Lei, head of design at Hangzhou Qiuguo Plan Technology Co., Ltd., this is not “another piece of hardware bombarding you with specs”. The company says it is not shouting slogans about changing the world and not manufacturing spec anxiety; it is doing one thing — letting you forget it exists once you put it on.
Design philosophy: flow, imperceptibility, balance. The design core of Wigain Flow is balance — not a balance of technical parameters, but the trade-offs among ergonomics, aesthetics and economics. The frame uses an aluminium–magnesium alloy with translucent TR90 material; the centre and sides of the frame have geometric cuts, while the lower edge of the temple arms follows a smooth organic curve. The exterior borrows the classic proportions of traditional optical glasses, tucking complex technology modules into an everyday form.
Zhang Lei says the wearing-experience targets are: no pressure on the nose bridge, no pressure on the ears, and no obstruction of the sightline. The centre of gravity is stable and the weight balanced, with optical lenses fitting the face naturally. What Qiuguo Plan wants to eliminate is the self-consciousness of wearing a face-worn device — the awkwardness of being stared at.
Technology route: silicon carbide light waveguide. In July 2025, Qiuguo Plan released the Wigain Omnision developer edition. That product used a silicon carbide (SiC) full-colour light-waveguide module, with 900 nits eye brightness, 50° FOV, a dual Qualcomm XR2 chip architecture, 42 TOPS total compute, and support for AI image recognition, AI shopping, real-time translation and immersive cinema.
On this evidence, silicon carbide waveguide is the core direction of Qiuguo Plan’s XR hardware. Wigain Flow further emphasises full-colour display, and will most likely continue the Micro-LED + full-colour SiC waveguide approach.
However, Qiuguo Plan does not treat technical parameters as the selling point. Its delivery standard is explicit: after half a year of repeated polishing and adjustment, what is delivered to users is a long-term experience promise, not mere hardware.
Positioning: solving small problems, not inventing big concepts. Wigain Flow focuses on proactive AI collaboration and a full-colour immersive experience, covering scenarios mainly in work, social interaction and outdoor viewing. The company’s direction is not to make an all-purpose device, but to focus on experience-driven niche scenarios. Technology blends in naturally without requiring users to adapt. The ultimate goal is imperceptible use — forgetting that the technology exists.
The field of view, weight, chip configuration and specific AI features have not yet been announced; more product information is expected to be revealed at the official launch on 23 September.
